Courtney John – Lucky Man - Posted June 14, 2009

Amazing tune – sounds straight out of the 60s, but can you beleive this was recorded this April? My summer anthem and already the soundtrack to many a 4AM YouTube party.

Placebo – Humpty Dumpty - Posted

Amazing tune. Sampled by Aim – recognise?

Caetano Velos – Billie Jean - Posted

Bossa Nova MJ?! Ahhhhh yeah.

Rokia Traore - Posted

Charles & Eddie – Would I lie to You - Posted

Not that many people get why I love this tune. Work It gets it!

Leonard Cohen Live in London - Posted

I recently watched this DVD with my folks – my sister got it for my Dad’s birthday. Amazing show – I only wish I could have gone. This tune is a family affair, it is the first song I ever learned to play on the guitar, courtesy of my Mum who, before the days of every song being transcribed and posted on the internet, handwrote the lyrics with chords above them.

Jamie Woon – Missing Person - Posted

Amazing tune by the Man Like Woon.

The Paragons – Happy Go Lucky Girl - Posted June 13, 2009

John Holt on vocals, Duke Reid on production. Tune! My song, Get Me On My Feet, owes it’s chorus 100% to this sweet little number. I proclaim it to be open homage as opposed to thievery. Legendary melodies like this should live on.

John Martyn – Head and Heart - Posted

This is my all time favourite John Martyn song. Simple production, but the hand drum sound is the perfect balance for me.

The King Blues – If I Had a Coin - Posted June 12, 2009
